Privacy Policy — GarageOS

GarageOS ("we", "our", "the app") is a workshop-management application for auto repair garages. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using GarageOS you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

GarageOS is operated by the app publisher (the "Operator"). For any privacy question or request you can contact us at harshchaurasia789@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Account information — your name, phone number, email address, garage/shop name, and the region you operate in, provided when you sign up or are added to a workshop.
Business records you enter — customers, vehicles, job cards, inspections, estimates, invoices, payments, inventory and appointments. This may include your customers' names, phone numbers and vehicle details that you choose to record.
Photos and videos — media you capture or upload during vehicle inspections or when creating a job.
Device & technical data — app version, device model and OS version, language, and a push-notification token (if you enable notifications), used to deliver reminders and keep the app working correctly.
Usage & diagnostic data — basic logs and error reports used to diagnose problems and improve reliability.

We do not collect payment card numbers. Payments recorded in the app are amounts and methods only (e.g. "CASH", "CARD") — no card data is stored.

3. How we use your information

To provide the service — creating and managing job cards, inspections, estimates, invoices and reports for your workshop.
To sync your data across your devices and keep it available when you reconnect after being offline.
To send you and your customers documents you choose to share (e.g. an estimate or invoice link) via WhatsApp, email or your device's share sheet.
To send service reminders and appointment notifications you set up.
To secure accounts, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

With service providers that host and run the app on our behalf (cloud hosting, database and object storage). They process data only to provide the service to us.
At your direction — when you send an estimate, invoice or inspection to a customer, that content is shared through the channel you pick.
When required by law — to comply with a valid legal request, or to protect rights, safety and security.

5. Data storage & security

Your data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. Access tokens are stored securely on your device. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

6. Data retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we will delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records (for example, tax and accounting records) to comply with the law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email harshchaurasia789@gmail.com. You can also request account deletion at that address.

8. Children

GarageOS is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. International users

GarageOS is offered in markets including the United Arab Emirates and India. Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country, with appropriate safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
